Addendum: Christmas charity donation for Rießentaifun in Siargao/Philippines

in news

Hello dear ones,

on December 24th, 2021 we held a "charity day", which means we saved the profit of the day to plan a charity event. In the meantime, I've stumbled across a more important, big headline and, out of necessity, I would like to hand over the donation to the following:

Super Typhoon Odette (international name: Rai) entered the Philippine Zone of Responsibility over the eastern Visayas on December 14. It made landfall on December 16 (Jan :30 PHT) for the first time on Siargao Island, Surigao Del Norte, with maximum sustained winds of 195 km/h near the center. The day before landing intensified Rai rapidly from a Category 1 storm to a Category 5 storm.

Siargao is also known for its world class wave called "Cloud9", a very popular destination for surfers. It was also at the top of my list but unfortunately I never made it due to the COVID situation. I heard and read a lot about how nice and helpful the locals are there. That's why I feel connected to donating our charity amount to the following community.

If you missed our charity day and still want to contribute something, you are welcome to send a voluntary donation. (via PayPal to with subject "HELPSIARGAO" - please send to friends, otherwise fees will be deducted

Or directly to the following fundraisers:

Waves 4 Water

Here you can make a voluntary donation to give the locals access to drinking water through the "Waves 4 Water" water filter
